Before I am even out of bed, Evan and Ellie bound into the bedroom. Evan hands me a brown paper lunch bag magnificently decorated with images that look like a cross between a socket wrench set and bubble wands. Inside is a coupon book for chores (I love his teacher, Ms. Callero) and a hand-made yellow flower for my hair. He grins with delight as I open it. Then he proceeds to give me a 5 minute security briefing on the safe way to handle a hot glue gun (needed to make my hair flower). I love that boy!!!!
